That would depend on the book and who you are. IF you write a book that does not sell well and if you self-publish, you could make nothing. You could even lose money.
If you write a best-seller and get it published by a large publisher, you could make hundreds of thousands. If you are Stephen King or James Patterson, you could make a million bucks or more.
